My Krawler

This is your homepage, and it gives a comprehensive view of all your friends, Content, communities, etc.

Personal Information:
This displays your details (name, age, city, state, country and brief introduction) the way they'll appear to other users of Krawler.

Edit your profile:
You can edit your profile by clicking on the Edit profile button at the bottom of the tab. A new window containing a WYSIWYG editor will open; simply clicking the information will allow you to edit it.

About Yourself:
A description of yourself.

Picture:
You can change your photograph by using drag and drop. Drag any image file (.bmp, .jpg, .gif) into the picture frame. Use the slider to zoom in or zoom out, and drag the image within the frame by clicking on it.

Details:
Click in the empty space in front of each field to enter the information.

Upload you resume:
Click Browse to select and upload your resume.

Email Settings:
Select one of the options to decide which users can see your email address.

Krawler will ask you whether or not you want to save this information and will save it after you affirm.

Friends:
The first column features the list of your friends, giving a thumbnail view, 8 at a time. In case you have more than 8 friends, the "next" hyperlink will appear and lead you to the next set of friends, and so on. You can navigate backwards using the "back" link.

Clicking a thumbnail will open up that friend's profile in a separate tab, identified by the friend's name. This tab will display the following details:

  1. His personal information (name, age, city, state, country and brief introduction)
  2. A panel featuring his Friends.
  3. A panel featuring the Content he has authored and/or opted for.
  4. A panel featuring the Communities he has created or taken membership of.

Your requests:
This is a panel below the Friends panel, which displays the list of users you have added as friends and are waiting for their approval. You can navigate through this list using "next" and "back" hyperlinks.

Pending requests for you: This is another panel below the "Your requests" panel which displays the list of pending friends, 8 at a time. You can navigate through this list using "next" and "back" hyperlinks.

Pending friends are those peers who have added you as a friend, and are waiting for your approval. They will be added to your list of friends once you accept them.

Content:
The second column features the Krawler Content you have opted for, giving a thumbnail view, 8 Content items at a time. In case the list contains more than 8 Content items, the "next" hyperlink will appear and lead you to the next set of Content items, and so forth. You can navigate backwards using the "back" link.

Author:
This panel features the content that you have authored.

Subscription Pending:
This panel features the list of content items which you have subscribed to and are awaiting the author's approval.

Clicking a thumbnail will open up the Content details in another tab, identified by the Content name. This tab will display the following panels:

  1. Content Overview:
    A brief introduction of the Content.
  2. Content Author:
    The author of the Content.
  3. Content Members:
    The list of the peers who have opted for that Content.
    If you have authored that Content, in addition to the above details you can also see the following
  4. Join Requests:
    The list of users who have sent a request to join the Content. You can then Accept/Reject that member. In case there are more than one members who have sent you Join requests, you can Accept/Reject all of them in one go by checking Accept All/Reject All. This data will be saved only after you click "OK".

At the top of the tab there are buttons to do the following

  1. Subscribe/unsubscribe Content
  2. Download Content
  3. View Content
  4. Close Tab

Communities
The third column features the list of communities you have started and those you have opted to be a member of, giving a thumbnail view, 8 at a time. In case the list contains more than 8 communities, the "next" hyperlink will appear and lead you to the next set of communities, and so forth.

Clicking a thumbnail will open up the community details in another tab, identified by the community name. This tab will contain two child-tabs. The first tab contains the following details:

  1. A brief introduction of the community.
  2. A link to the creator of that community.
  3. The list of the members of that community.
  4. If you no longer wish to be a member of that group, you can do so by clicking the "Leave Community" button at the bottom of the tab.
  5. Two other toolbar buttons at the bottom of the tab; "View Forum" and "Close Tab" allow you to view the community forum or close the child tab.
  6. In case you are the creator of the community there will be another toolbar button at the bottom of the tab - "Invite People", which allows you to invite other users to join your community.

The second child-tab contains a tree-view of all the messages posted in the community's forum. The forum tab consists of two panels, the top panel consisting of the tree-view of messages and the bottom panel to view each message. A message can be viewed in the bottom panel by clicking on the message link in the panel on top.
